Question

Answer

How to join

Subs are due in November, for current members. The current fee is £1.50 each for the year. Two at one address £2.00. Most people pay at the November meeting. If you cannot attend this, then get the money to a committee member as soon as possible. A programme is normally sent out at the beginning of December for the following 4 months or so. This is sent even if you have not paid yet. We hope the content of the programme will encourage you to pay up! If you wish to join at a later date you are very welcome to do so. Most people pay at a meeting, but if this is not convenient then you can send a cheque or give it to a committee member at another time. Make sure you give written details of name, address other wise you will not get a programme and your payment might even slip out of memory. There is a payment at each meeting to cover refreshments and admin. Currently this £1 for members and £1.50 for non-members. email your phone number and /or address and we will contact you.

why have I not received a reply to my email

a) have you added our address to your list of acceptable addresses? b) we have experienced several problems replying to people using aol. We tried using another address to send from but it did not work either. There does not seem to be anything we can do about it. c) It is quite possible the web-sec has been on holiday or very busy on other things. At present we only have one person available for this job, this is a new venture and we are not whizzes yet. We appologise to anyone waitng for a reply. If you have received our Jubilee information sheet, you will have phone numbers and you are welcome to use any of these should you need info quickly. In fact we look forward to hearing from you.

Why do you not put telephone numbers and address on the web-site?

This organisation is run by volunteers, who understandably do not want their personal contact details in such a public domain.
