Re-aquisition of artworks
Welcome back to the Murals
The murals from Queen Victoria Road Coffee Bar were found in Terry's garage.
There is one scratch and a bit of damp round the edges but considering their ages and where they had been stored for so long, their condition is remarkably good.
They also bear the signs of having been in a bar! If anyone has the skills and the time they would benefit from a clean.
you basically need plenty of cotton buds, spit and patience!
What we are to do with these large items when we do not have permanent premises has to be seriously considered.
We also have 4 plaster plaques which I think are to be seen in photos of Little Park Street and were certainly on the walls of Q V R.
